Convex

Operate Convex through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the convex connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Convex. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "convex" --action "<action_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "convex" --action "<action_name>" --data '<json>' --json

--data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action is listed below with a one-line description; actions that change state carry a [write] or [destructive] tag. Before constructing --data, fetch the action’s live schema with oo connector schema to get its authoritative input fields.

create_deploy_key — Create a deploy key for a Convex deployment. [write]
create_deployment — Create a new deployment in a Convex project. [write]
create_project — Create a Convex project on a team, optionally provisioning an initial dev or prod deployment. [write]
delete_custom_domain — Remove a custom domain from a Convex deployment. [destructive]
delete_deploy_key — Delete a deploy key for a Convex deployment. [destructive]
delete_deployment — Delete a Convex deployment and all of its data. [destructive]
delete_project — Delete a Convex project and all of its deployments. [destructive]
execute_query_batch — Execute multiple Convex queries against a deployment and return results in the same order.
get_deployment — Get a cloud deployment by deployment name.
get_project_by_id — Get a Convex project by numeric project ID.
get_project_by_slug — Get a Convex project by team identifier or slug plus project slug.
get_token_details — Return the current Convex token details so you can discover the authorized team or project context.
list_custom_domains — List custom domains configured for a Convex deployment.
list_deploy_keys — List deploy keys for a Convex deployment. [write]
list_deployment_classes — List available deployment classes for a Convex team.
list_deployment_regions — List available deployment regions for a Convex team.
list_deployments — List deployments for a Convex project.
list_projects — List all Convex projects for a team.
run_action — Execute a Convex action through the deployment HTTP API.
run_function — Execute an arbitrary Convex function through /api/run/{functionIdentifier} using a slash-separated identifier.
run_mutation — Execute a Convex mutation through the deployment HTTP API.
run_query — Execute a Convex query through the deployment HTTP API.
update_deployment — Update mutable Convex deployment properties. [write]

Safety

Untagged actions are reads (get / list / search) — safe to run directly.
Actions tagged [write] change Convex state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
Actions tagged [destructive] remove or overwrite data — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Convex is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: OAuth2, API key) at:

HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.
